No License Required -- Safe for the you and the environment.

Use as a replacement for HFC-134a and others.

Enviro-Safe Refrigerants are Ozone Safe, environmentally friendly and are more efficient than CFC-R12 and HFC-R134a.

You will only need 1/3rd of the amount you would use with those other refrigerants. A 6 ounce can is equivalent to or 16 ounces of R-134A, or by quantity to 18 ounces of R-12

Use only 2 cans to charge the system of your car or SUV.

Guaranteed not to harm your A/C system!

size="5" color="#AF0000" > There is no need to change hoses, seals, oils, or compressors to use Enviro-Safe.  ES-12a requires no retrofitting or redesigning of the refrigeration system because it's completely compatible with all the materials, hoses, O-rings, seals and oils (mineral, pag or synthetic) in all systems.

Does ENVIRO-SAFE require retrofitting? No!

ENVIRO-SAFE is a direct drop-in replacement for R-134a.

If any automotive system is "first generation" (ie.- has 134a fittings, contains no Freon®*, and has the appropriate sticker, etc.) it may accept a "second generation" refrigerant like ENVIRO-SAFE ES-12a.

The savings can be enormous!

color="#000000" size="4" >There are no new procedures or techniques to learn!

color="#000000" size="4" >The same equipment and gauges are used.

Enviro-Safe ES-12a color="#000000" size="4" > pressure on the high side may run up to 15 psi lower than what your R-12 high side pressure normally is. The low side pressure should be the same as your R-12 low side pressure at any given ambient temp.

color="#000000" size="4" > For those who install by weight, the equivalency ratios are:

.33 lb. of color="#007f00">Enviro-Safe ES-12a is equivalent to 1 lb. of R-12

.38 lb. of color="#007f00">Enviro-Safe ES-12a is equivalent to 1 lb. or R-134a

color="#007f00">Enviro-Safe is completely compatible with synthetic or organic oils in all existing systems. No flushing or oil changes are required. The only difference is that color="#007f00">Enviro-Safe is installed as a liquid.

color="#007f00">1 - If system is charged, check system for leaks or defective components. Replace or repair as necessary. Determine that compressor has proper amount of lubricant according to manufacturer's specifications.

color="#007f00">2 - If desired, pull a vacuum, and keep in mind that no more than 10 inches of mercury (vacuum) is required.  Unlike Freon®*, color="#007f00">Enviro-Safe does not become caustic if moisture is present. Also charging under a high vacuum might result in an overcharge if you're charging from a canister. An overcharge can cause loss of cooling efficiency.

color="#007f00">3 - Connect gauges and hoses. With compressor off, open cylinder valve or invert can to install color="#007f00">Enviro-Safe on low pressure side of compressor (installing as a liquid will not harm the compressor). Establish flow. After an initial minimum charge is achieved, start compressor and set system to high. Continue adding color="#007f00">Enviro-Safe as needed to achieve either the proper amount as determined by the equivalency ratio or the proper pressure level according to manufacturer's specifications.

color="#000000" size="4" > DO NOT OVERCHARGE! Exceeding 60 psig on the low side may damage compressor. In some cases, clearing the site glass overcharges the unit. Any overcharge may cause loss of cooling efficiency.

color="#007f00">4 - After verifying that the pressures and temperatures are correct, shut off compressor, disconnect gauges, install service port caps and place the color="#007f00">Enviro-Safe "stick on" tag (shipped along with each purchase) in a clearly visible area.

color="#007f00">5 - If a system has been overcharged or has a leak and must be recharged, completely evacuate the system using reclaiming equipment and start the charging procedure over.

How do I detect a Leak?

To locate the precise origin of a leak, it is recommended that a hydrocarbon detector be utilized. Most mid and higher priced conventional leak detectors will detect hydrocarbon refrigerants. In the alternative, either soap bubbles or color="#007f00">Enviro-Safe Dye Charge can be used.

color="#007f00">Enviro-Safe Dye Charge is both visually detectable and responsive to black light.

  • color="#007f00" size="4" >Enviro-Safe does not become caustic if contaminated with moisture or oxygen.
  • color="#007f00" size="4" >Enviro-Safe is a better conductor of heat and requires less horsepower to compress, which reduces compressor wear and extends compressor life.
  • color="#007f00" size="4" >Enviro-Safe does not require a compressor oil change.
  • color="#007f00" size="4" >Enviro-Safe color="#000000" size="4"> has a very low Global Warming Potential and a Zero Ozone Depletion Potential.
